Description
One light tan earthenware model of a granary. Presents unglazed cylindrical body flaring outwards slightly towards the base with a vertical slot in one side. Model also exhibits glazed green four-cornered peaked roof with moulded ridges.

Provenance
Carried to New Zealand in 1948 by A.E. Lorimer, who worked in China with the Y.W.C.A. In 1956, loaned to the Rewi Alley Chinese Art and Crafts Exhibition, held at the Provincial Council Chambers, Christchurch.
