One circular glazed black Tianmu ware bowl in the form of an inverted conoid tapering sharply from a wide rim to a shallow narrow base. Line of red glaze around rim.

Carried to New Zealand in 1947 by A.E. Lorimer, who worked in China with the Y.W.C.A. In 1956, loaned to the Rewi Alley Chinese Art and Crafts Exhibition, held at the Provincial Council Chambers, Christchurch.
