Description
One creamy-white elongated carved ivory male figure posed on a short base openwork carved and pierced on the front surface with botanical patterns. Figure is depicted bearded and dressed in long flowing robes with his right hand clutching his belt and his left hand holding two clappers above his head. Rear surface of figure is less detailed presenting an oval-shaped label with Chinese characters. Iconography consistent with Daoist Immortal Cao Guojiu.
