Title

Bottle: snuff

Description

One glazed white ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck surmounts a flattened pear-shaped body tapering towards an oval-shaped base. Each face presents a glazed orange moulded fish design. Each short side presents a moulded taotie design. Plain orange stopper in the form of a flat horizontal disc and vertical ring-shaped finial. Glazed blue base exhibits mark of Qianlong Emperor (1736-1796 AD) in orange glaze.
