Description
One tall circular glazed light grey ceramic vase with a narrow neck and flaring lip surmounting broad high shoulders that taper gradually to a slightly out-turned base. Vessel exterior body exhibits designs in dark grey colouration. Vase shoulders and lower two fifths of its body present bands of linear geometric patterns. Vase mid-section presents a serpentine botanical pattern.
Provenance
Bought by Alley in Beijing, and in 1957 given to poet R.A.K. Mason (1905-1971) to carry to Canterbury Museum.
