One large glazed sancai ware figure of a saddled and bridled horse standing on a shallow rectangular unglazed base. Dominant glaze colours are brown white and ochre-green.
Provenance
Replica of original found near Xian, given to Canterbury Museum by Alley during a visit to Christchurch in 1964.
