Ivory: sculpture

One creamy-white elongated carved ivory male figure posed on a short base openwork carved and pierced on the front surface with botanical patterns. Figure is depicted bearded and dressed in long flowing robes with his right hand holding a calabash gourd bottle and his left hand a walking stick. Iconography consistent with Daoist Immortal Li Tieguai.
