Bottle: snuff

Description

One glazed ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck with a flared lip surmounts a flattened spade-shaped body tapering towards a rectangular base. Dominant glaze colours are red-brown and white. Lip glazed gold as are the boundaries of each face. Neck and short sides exhibit red-brown woodgrain pattern. Faces are glazed in various hues and present solitary figures in garden landscapes. Base exhibits mark: 房山雲彤 (Mount Fang red cloud). Plain hemispherical orange stopper and red-brown glass collar. Spoon is missing.
