Bottle: snuff

Description

One glazed white ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck with a slightly out-turned lip surmounts a flattened rounded rectangular body tapering towards an oval-shaped base. Body presents a continuous moulded design of figures houses and landscape motifs glazed in various hues. Metal stopper with elaborate beading and seven inset pieces of coloured glass. Base exhibits mark of Qianlong Emperor (1736-1796 AD) in orange glaze.
