Title

Bottle: snuff

Description

One glazed blue red and white ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck with a beaded lip surmounts conical shoulders on an elongated cylindrical body tapering at the bottom towards a circular base. Neck ringed with geometric T-shaped pattern. Shoulders exhibit floral motifs enmeshed in pattern of linked triangles and criss-crossing lines. Body presents garden landscape design in which two warriors duel with swords whilst two other figures look on. Base exhibits mark of Yongzheng Emperor (1723-1735 AD).
