One glazed pale green ceramic cuboid seal. Upper end embellished with recumbent lion. Lower face presents inscription 一片冰心 (yi pian bing xin or 'the heart of jade').
Provenance
Part of collection Alley gave to Canterbury Museum during Museum director Roger Duff's trip to China in 1956.
