Bottle: snuff
Description
One glazed blue and white ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck surmounts a flattened circular body tapering towards an oval-shaped base. Rim ringed with botanical pattern. Body presents a continuous design of people engaged in a range of activities from cooking and carpentry to textile work and making music. Short sides exhibit serpentine dragon motifs. Base exhibits mark of Shunzhi Emperor (1643-1661 AD).
