Description
One glazed blue red yellow-green and white ceramic snuff bottle. A short wide neck with a flaring beaded lip surmounts an elongated cylindrical body tapering slightly towards a circular base. Shoulders ringed with design interleaving cloud forms and ruyi patterns. Body presents twelve figurative scenes organised in three tiers of four accompanied in each case by Chinese characters. Base exhibits flowers and flying insect.
