Bottle: snuff

One glazed white ceramic stuff bottle. A short narrow neck surmounts a flattened elongated round rectangular body tapering towards an oval-shaped base. One face presents a multi-coloured design of a bird and plants; the other face presents a black and green design of a winged insect and foliage.

One of a consignment carried to New Zealand in 1957 by George Jackson of Auckland, and from Auckland to Christchurch by Jack Locke, including 22 snuff bottles.
