Description

One unglazed tan-brown figure in the form of a camel. Camel is depicted with head erect bearing ingots of iron and bales of silk. Figure exhibits moulded and incised details and traces of red pigment.

Provenance

Part of a collection Alley gave to Canterbury Museum during Museum director Roger Duff's trip to China in 1956.
