Ivory: sculpture

One creamy-white elongated carved ivory male figure posed on a short base openwork carved and pierced on the front surface with botanical patterns. Figure is depicted bearded and dressed in long flowing robes with a sword slung over his right shoulder and a Daoist fly whisk held in his right hand. Iconography consistent with Daoist Immortal Lu Dongbin.
